Black Rhinoceros 3786

This is a female black rhinoceros at the Fossil Rim Wildlife Center named Coco. No idea where the name came from, but she was really hyperactive, so maybe that'a part of it. It was quite a sight to see... most rhinos I've seen, black or white stand there like a lump, so seeing her prance around and spin and run was really cool.

Fun fact: The difference between black and white rhinos is not their color. Black rhinos have pointed upper lips, which are well suited for browsing from shrubs and small trees, while white rhinos have a squared upper lip that is best used to graze on grasses.
