Black and White Week #3: Magnificent Hummingbird

Entry number three in Black and White Week, this is a Magnificent Hummingbird photographed in the cloud forest of Costa Rica at El Trogon Lodge. Took about 90 minutes of waiting leaned back against a wet hill in failing light before this guy got comfortable enough to land close to me, but it was totally worth the effort.

Honestly, I like both the original and black and white versions of this shot for different reasons. Hope you like it too.
