Description

I tried to get a picture of the baby bongo, but the parents didn't feel like cooperating, and the mother came up and blocked my line of sight. So that's how I got this close-up. I just took my lemons and made me some lemonade. :aww:

I actually has a similar problem when I got to take a behind-the-scenes tour of a local private zoo. I was allowed to go into the bongo/giraffe barn where the cows and their calves were (well, seperated by a fence, obviously), and while I was trying to watch the babies, one of the cows noticed me and decided to come investigate. Though I didn't get any shots of the babies, I got quite a few kisses from the cow who had come over. Once in a lifetime experience I'll never forget. :)
