Similar to my Wild Eyes shot, but a bit less extreme of a close-up. There's something to be said for not shooting so close to an animal that you can see the individual cells in their retinas. It's still a portrait shot, which I think is what I do best, but there's a touch more context to the animal.
You wouldn't think so from the pictures I've gotten. But then again, who wants to see a picture of an animal with tiny eyes? ([link]) Or even worse, one that is blinking ([link]).
