Room to Grow

A shot of one of the cubs at the San Antonio Zoo from last year, hanging out in the shade and inspecting some passersby. You always think of babies as having different proportions to their bodies -- big heads, big eyes, and stumpy limbs -- since they are, after all, just babies, but it really struck me how much this girl looked like just a miniature adult. Just needed some time to fill out the frame.
