Was incredibly lucky while on a trip to the Sedgwick Museum in Cambridge to catch this guy in a tree our group was camped under. Shortly after landing, it started raining down feathers and this guy got down to business. Really a cool thing to watch. And for those wondering, it was a Blue Tit that the hawk caught. ([link])

I think at the time it was one of the few raptors I'd actually seen under semi wild conditions, so I was just blown away. First Blue Tit I'd seen too. I'd definitely like to have seen one go after a wood pigeon while I was over there though.

its just stunning seeing them in the wild- there's just a different feel to them when they're in captivity.
well, you should see my garden- has pretty much every bird species of the UK in it! haha
