Warmth in Monochrome

One of the older female western lowland gorillas at the San Francisco Zoo. The plexiglass I was shooting through absolutely wonked the colors beyond repair, so I had to convert it to black and white. Imagine my surprise though when the monochrome version ended up being a stronger image.
