Snow Leopard 7730

Another good old fashioned close up of the female snow leopard at the Sacramento Zoo.

I learned on this trip that she has a male counterpart at the zoo that the keepers are hoping to get her together with. Trouble is, they....don't quite get along, as big cats are wont to do. So the keepers have built up a new holding area out behind the exhibit, and hopefully they can start cycling the male out on exhibit now and again until they get used to each other. We shall see.
